Vice Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jim Kilby visited the Huntington Hall Navy Exchange Mini Mart in Newport News, March 5. During his visit, he engaged in discussions with leadership to gain insights into the Quality of Service standard. The QoS initiative aims to enhance the quality of life and work for Sailors stationed on ships and boats undergoing construction and overhaul at Newport News Shipbuilding.

Kilby met with Capt. Hannah Kriewaldt, commanding officer of the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion & Repair and Jai Snipes, Exchange Manager. Their dialogue centered around strategies to improve access to everyday items commonly found in grocery stores for Sailors living at Huntington Hall.
